Dr Bhavika Parekh qualified as a dentist in India, in 2000. After gaining some hands-on experience in oral surgery for a year, she became a practice principal in 2001.

She treated patients for 5 years as a principal dentist and successfully managed the administration of her entire team of associate dentist/specialists. In 2006, she moved to the UK with her husband Dr Ketan Panwalkar, followed by a career break to spend some time with her new born baby.

In the following years, she completed her statutory exams followed by courses in Cosmetic Dentistry, anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers, Invisalign and SAAD (Society of Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry).

Simultaneously, she worked at private and NHS dental practices, providing general dental treatments and sedation, as an associate dentist.

Bhavika continues her professional development and clinical governance as required for her registration with the General Dental Council.

Outside of dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her 14-year-old son and her family including her golden retriever Waffles. She loves cooking, travelling, dancing and choreography.

Dr Ketan V Panwalkar

Principal dentist and Practice owner

Dr Ketan Panwalkar completed his Bachelor in Dental Surgery (BDS) from India, in 1999. He then attained his post graduate training in Paediatric and Preventive Dentistry from Manipal Academy of Higher Education, India.

During his 2 year post-qualification study, he regularly dealt with nervous/medically compromised children, completing their full mouth rehabilitation in the form of restorations/root fillings/crowns under sedation/general anaesthesia. Post study, he practised sedative work for 3 years alongside an anaesthetist, gaining valuable experience, knowledge and expertise in the field.

Ketan has been in the UK since 2006. His keen interest in the field led to him complete his SAAD (Society for Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry) in 2008-9. He then completed his 1 year Post Graduate Certificate Course in Dental Sedation and Pain Management from University College London (UCL) in 2010-11.

Since then, he has been completing private and NHS intravenous sedation (IV) treatment for nervous patients; carrying out dental treatment such as fillings, root treatments and other aspects of dentistry. He has subsequently completed a one year PG Certification in Dental Implants with VSS Academy London in 2015 and has had mentoring completing implant dentistry since. Recently, Ketan undertook a refresher course with Practical Implantology, where he placed implants under expert mentoring to augment his knowledge and skills in the field.

Ever since, Ketan has been regularly doing sedation on the National Health Service (weekly) and privately visiting dental practices in and around Hampshire/Berkshire/Oxfordshire. He continues to keep himself updated in the field of sedation and pain control in dentistry and is accredited on the Wessex Area Team (NHS England) Dentist with Special Interest in sedation list. He has years of experience in assisting dentists/endodontists/oral surgeons in their operative procedures in nervous patients, by helping them to relax.

When Ketan is not working, his interests include music (Indian and western classical) and finished Gr1 (ABRSM) piano. He's a voracious reader, and loves to play sports including tennis, golf, badminton and squash.

Disha began her dentistry journey in 2010 and has since developed a deep passion for providing comprehensive dental care. Her love for dentistry and patients wellbeing shines through her meticulous approach to the dental treatment she provides, and the knowledge she brings through patient education.

Disha believes in the value of building strong relationships with her patients based on trust, empathy, and open communication. Her approach to dentistry focuses not only on treating dental issues, but also on educating her patients on preventive care, ensuring that every patient enjoys optimal oral health. Additionally, Disha has participated in community oral health care programmes to promote oral health awareness.

When Disha isn’t enhancing smiles, she enjoys baking, travelling, cooking, painting and watching F1.

Anju Devan

Anju is another hard-working and valued member of our team. She is a dentist qualified in India, and aspires to pass her overseas registration and work as a dentist in the future.

As our hygienist and therapist, her communication skills and problem-solving capabilities are remarkable.

Camelia is well liked by all of the team members for her calm composure and pleasant, focused attitude towards work.

Haleema is one of our team members who aspires to learn both the clinical and non clinical responsibilities and duties within the dental practice.

Haleema has a very pleasing personality and has settled very well in her new role as a receptionist and a trainee dental nurse.
