On the behalf of Gatley Park Dental, it gives me immense pleasure to introduce myself. My name is Dr. Bikram Grewal and I have the honour to qualify as a practicing Dental Surgeon in August 2005. Immediately after the graduation, I did my Vocational Training in Birmingham. Then for a period of six years I have worked as an Associate in a mixed practice in Halifax accumulating and solidifying my dental skills. Now since April 2013 I have the pride of working as a Principal Dentist here at Gatley Park Dental Practice.
Being a passionate educationist is one of the reason that I keep myself updated with several continuing professional development programs. Along with a feeling of personal satisfaction, it always helps me serve the patients with the most up to date treatments, it's a win-win situation for everyone.
One of my core strengths is to understand what my patient desires in order to achieve the perfect smile for themselves and then suggest most non-invasive and realistic treatment modalities to them. For this reason, we offer Invisalign treatment which is one of the most non-invasive and innovative treatment when it comes straightening teeth. Invisalign is a trusted brand backed up by clinical studies and is the largest provider of virtually invisible braces worldwide with over 14 million people treated. I think combination of Invisalign, teeth whitening and bonding can provide most realistic and amazing smile solutions for most people.
I also have great passion for teaching and it forms an important part of my professional life. I have been working as an Honorary Clinical Tutor with Sheffield University, and am also working as an Educational Supervisor with Health Education North West in order to train the next generation of dentists.
Aside from this, I also have special interest in Endodontics (root canal treatments) for which I use a Microscope and Restorative work especially bonding work with composites which helps in giving beautiful, aesthetic and natural looking fillings in front and back teeth.
